With a background in Bookmaking &amp; Price Assessment prior to a career in the media, Anthony has a reputation as an astute Form Analyst and is particularly successful at identifying his best-bets for any given meeting he is covering in his region. Anthony has featured amongst the leading racing media tipsters for his best-bets over the last few years.
Using his knowledge and experience in the industry and with an eye for sourcing quality tried horses, Anthony has purchased plenty of tried horses over the years and won many races using his methods of identifying talent and better placement of horses.

Mitch, a small business owner in Western Sydney has always been a keen racegoer, his grandfather was a trainer at Warwick Farm and for as long as he can remember has been around a race track and horses.
Mitch himself has had terrific success in the tried horse space and with his savvy business skills compliments what Patriot Bloodstock has set out to achieve.

Mitchell Lloyd

The son of a successful Jockey, Les Beer, Mitch was destined to be a horse trainer.
Mitch started his professional career working for Lloyd Williams aged 16 and later moved onto become stable foreman for leading Melbourne trainer Russell Cameron.
Having secured his training license in 2015, and initially setting up stables in Victoria, Beer moved to his current base at Albury in 2018 and hasn't looked back.
Beer is an expert in the tried horse market, regularly churning out winners purchased online, and more than capable of taking a country trained horse to the next level having won Regional Country Championships and had runners in The Kosciuszko the last two years.
With his infectious personality, Beer has endeared himself to the racing public and made owning a horse with him a fun experience like no other.

Mitch Beer

Brett was born into the racing industry, riding trackwork at the age of 12 before school for his grandfather Frank Cavanough, also a mentor for one of Victoria&rsquo;s best trainers, Peter Moody.
At 15, Brett left school to work for Queensland trainers Jim McCormack and Barry Baldwin (trainer of the 2006 Stradbroke Handicap winner La Montagna) and also learned the delicate craft of breaking in horses.
At 18, Brett was keen to try his hand at training but the raw young man thought he should explore his options. So he left the racing industry and toiled at a number of different things before he was enticed into shearing at 24 &ndash; and what a rare talent was discovered.
In September 1997, Brett became the first Australian to hold an official World Shearing Record when he shore 427 in eight hours at Widgeiwa Station in the Riverina.
In 1998, Brett considered himself ready to return to racing.
Since, he has won eleven Southern District Racing Association trainers&rsquo; premierships as well as most of the Southern District Racing Association Country Cups, before his move to Scone, and on four occasions, including last year&rsquo;s 2017/18 Season, has been crowned NSW Leading Country Trainer.
Brett has also prepared the NSW Country Horse of the Year, several times, the most recent of which was The Monstar (2017/18).
In May 2008, Brett experienced his biggest day at the track when Helideck brilliantly won the Prime Ministers Cup at the Gold Coast while his stablemate Xaardante was narrowly beaten into second in the Gold Coast Guineas which took a record-breaking performance by El Cambio.
In the 2006/07 racing season, Brett Cavanough won the title of New South Wales leading country trainer defeating the likes of Paul Perry, Kris Lees, and Barbara Joseph.
Brett also finished sixth in the NSW trainers title behind the likes of Gai Waterhouse, John Hawkes and Guy Walter, an amazing achievement for an Albury-based trainer.
Brett&rsquo;s success is based on the simple principles of hard work and professionalism that come from growing up in outback Queensland before emerging as Australia&rsquo;s leading sheep shearer.
Brett leaves nothing to chance, having a superb support staff and after serving a long apprenticeship, he is reaping the rewards of many years of hard work. With his stable of smart horses combined with an exciting crop of up and comers, the future looks bright for Brett and everyone associated with Brett Cavanough racing stables.
