Patriot Bloodstock has limited shares available in a lightly raced maiden horse, Air Combat .
Air Combat was a $320,000 yearling purchase in 2022 at Magic Millions. He was originally purchased by a Hong Kong based owner to race there but hasn’t meet the criteria to be exported and was offered for sale on Inglis Digital where we secured him.
Air Combat has had 3 starts, and finished 2nd at his latest start at Kembla Grange over 1500m on soft 6 ground, March 15. The last 600m was 35.11, a faster L600m than the G3 Kembla Grange Classic run on the same day. A significant form reference and a key piece of the puzzle when sourcing tried horses.
The winner of that race, Vermillion Dragon, a $340,000 purchase for My Racehorse syndicate looks a likely QLD Derby prospect. Our horse is extremely affordable by comparison.
He is a raw horse with scope for improvement who can run 1400m, we see him long-term as a potential Country Championship horse.
Air combat will be trained by Brett Robb at Dubbo. He has just completed 4-weeks spelling and we would expect him to be racing end of June, early July.
Shares start at $750 = 2.5%, $1,500 = 5%.
Fixed ongoings monthly $90 + GST = 2.5%, or $180 + GST = 5%.
