Patriot Bloodstock is thrilled to offer 4yo gelding, ZEQUEL {Russian Revolution} 7:1-2-0, headed to Mitch Beer’s recently announced Kembla Grange stable.
Zequel was from the first crop of Russian Revolution which includes Group-1 winner, Communist {Russian Reloluation}.
Zequel was raced by China Horse Club who typically only race stakes class colts, as this horse didn't suit their criteria, he was offered online through Inglis Digital.
Patriot Bloodstock identified Zequel as the ideal pick-up for the Kembla base. Zequel is a fast sprinter with good tactical speed, an on-pace racing pattern who can sustain a solid tempo. Having only won one race he is very easy to place on the provincial and country circuit in a class 1 immediately, but with the scope to make it to midway level. He will target the country carnivals on the South Coast over the summer.
This preparation Zequel has done all of his racing on the Ballarat Synthetic track during the winter. He won his maiden June 23, running almost 4L faster time than standard for the 1000m and comparable with the BM64 over the same distance/same day. His subsequent next two runs he was beaten 0.75L 2nd, and 0.6L 4th in BM58 grade and carried 61.5kg on both occasions.
Ballarat because of it's close proximity to Melbourne is very strong form, and we've had great success purchasing horses with similar form profiles out of Victoria and racing them with success in NSW.

Zequel is sound with a clean vet report and scope. The horse will go for a short spell and commence training again early November and be primed to be up and racing over the summer.
Shares start at $950.00 for 2.5%. Costs include purchase costs, GST, product disclosure statement, vet fees, scope, registration & transfers, transport, pre-training, agistment, and all costs until November1.
Ongoing training fees per month are as follows.
2.5% $110 + GST
5% $220 + GST
7.5% $330 + GST
10% $440 + GST
Our fees are fixed each and every month with no extras except any unexpected vet fees, surgeries, feature race nominations, or anything out of the ordinary etc.
