Our latest tried horse purchase 3yo filly, MOUNT WARNING {Astern} 7:1-3-0 $52,150 to be trained by Mitch Beer in Albury.
Mount Warning is a well-performed filly on the Sydney provincial circuit with some very strong form references.
Mount Warning won her maiden at Gosford, April 25 2023 recording the fastest last 600m of the meeting, faster than the Class 1 horses over the same distance, same day. The horse that ran 3rd in that race, Starry Jack {Outreach} recently passed-in online for $150,000, our filly was purchased for a sixth of that figure.
She next ran 4th in a very strong 3yo race at Warwick Farm, May 17. The race time was faster overall and last 600m than the BM72 over the same distance, same day. Breaking down sectional times is a key piece of the puzzle when sourcing tried horses. She also beat home subsequent city winner, Bubba's Bay {Cable Bay} this day.
Mount Warning than ran 2nd her next two starts at Newcastle, May 30, and Wyong, June 15. At Wyong she was only beaten 0.89L to progressive filly, Angel Fund {Capitalist} 4:2-0-1.

Based off her provincial form we have identified Mount Warning as an ideal horse to be placed in the country with the scope to be eligible for TAB Highways after three runs for her new trainer, Mitch Beer.
