We’re thrilled to offer our latest tried horse, 4yo gelding The Impact {Zoustar} 6:1-2-0 $36,400, from city-winning mare My Shabella {Haradasun}. The Impact is a half-brother to Hong Kong horse, Howdeepisyourlove {Deep Field}, he was originally purchased for $150,000 at the 2020 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, we secured the horse for a fraction of his original purchase price at just $22,500 on the January Inglis Digital online sale.
The Impact has raced 6 times for a maiden win at Hawkesbury, and placings at Bathurst, and Kembla Grange. He won his maiden at Hawkesbury, November 3 coming from the extreme outside barrier, sitting outside the leader and toughing it out for a tenacious victory.

The Impact than ran 2nd at Kembla Grange, November 26 behind O'Tycoon {Written Tycoon} who subsequently was placed 3rd in a Sydney, Saturday race. These are teriffic form-lines for a horse that is heading to the country and a key piace of the puzzle when sourcing tried horses.

He was sold due to his ownership group believing he wasn’t up to metropolitan class in Sydney, however, based off his New South Wales provincial form we’re confident he’s a great buy to be better placed in the country.
The Impact is exactly the type of horse we love to buy, lightly raced, already proven he is up to provincial class, with a low benchmark and ideally placed in a country stable.
He will be eligible for Country Only races in his first preparation for us carrying minimum prizemoney of $30,000, and we believe he is the type of horse that can ultimately make TAB Highway races.
To be trained by leading New South Wales Country trainer Brett Cavanough at either his Scone or Ballina base. The horse will head straight to Brett at Scone where he'll have a short break before we commence training with him early March.
Shares for The Impact start at $2000 for 5%. Costs include purchase price, GST, PDS, transport, vet certificate, registration, transfers, and all associated training and spelling costs until the end of April at which stage he will be almost ready to race.
Ongoing costs are fixed at $200 + GST each month for 5%, no extras except for unexpected vet call outs, surgeries, feature race nominations, or anything out of the ordinary etc.
