Patriot Bloodstock offers a recent tried horse purchase, 4yo maiden gelding Felix Pereon 4:0-1-0 $7,850 {Ad Valorum}.
Felix Pereon was sold because his owner is ill, and we secured the horse on the December Inglis Digital online sale for $15,000.
Felix Pereon has raced 4 times. His first run at Warwick Farm, February 2022 he drew wide and was forced to race well-back and wide throughout. He was immediately spelled after this run.
He returned to the races, July 16 on the back of a trial win at Warwick Farm and finished a good 4th at Kembla on a heavy track.

His next start was at Muswellbrook, July 31 where he sat outside the leader and chased gamely the whole way to go down fighting finishing 2nd. The winner of the race, Powerful Peg 4:2-1-0 $32,230 {Rubick} has since won again at Tamworth, November 29, while there are three other subsequent winners from that race, Adelsun 5:2-0-0 $29,400 {Adelaide}, and Snizzi 3:1-1-1 $21,000 {Snitzel}.

The form out of this maiden race stacks up very well, these form references are a key piece of the puzzle when sourcing tried horses and back-up our processes to identify tried horses that can be better placed in an easier jurisdiction.
Following the 2nd at Muswellbrook, Felix Pereon then raced at Kembla where he drew barrier 9 of 10, was forced to work hard early to race outside the leader on a fast pace, he still showed a kick in the straight before eventually being run down but only beaten 3L. Despite finishing 9th of 10, this run was full of merit.

Felix Pereon was then spelled until now. He will continue to put some more condition on before we bring him back into the stables. We would expect him to be ready to race by March/April.
The horse is sound, with no vices.
To be trained by leading New South Wales Country trainer Mitch Beer at his Albury stables. Patriot Bloodstock have built up a formidable partnership with Mitch Beer in the last 12 months having produced 11 winners together since January.
Shares for Felix Pereon start at $1250 for 5%. Costs include purchase price, PDS, transport, vet certificate, registration, transfers, and all associated costs until the end of January.
Ongoing costs are fixed at $200 + GST each month for 5%, no extras except for unexpected vet call outs, surgeries, feature race nominations, or anything out of the ordinary etc.
