We're excited to offer our latest tried horse purchase, 4YO gelding Mr Metrics {City Place (USA)}, from stakes-winning mare Single Spice {Not A Single Doubt}.
Single Spice has had seven foals to race, five winners including Ima Single Man {Gingerbread Man}, a Group-2 winner in Western Australia before exported to Hong Kong, for 5 wins and $1.5mil in prizemoney overall.
Mr Metrics is lightly raced with just 6 starts, for 2 wins, and 1 third placing in South Australia. He is a tough on-pacer with the ideal racing pattern.
He won his first two starts earlier this year dominantly at Clare, and Murray Bridge by a combined 8.5 lengths!

At his next race he started $5.50 and ran third in a $100,000 race during the Oakbank carnival to subsequent stakes placed, Defining. Second in that race was, Hopon Harry which later that preparation won a Saturday race at Caulfield, and more recently at Morphettville on November 5. Also coming through the race was Rich Gina (6th beaten 9L), who has won four from eight, including her last two at Morphettville on a Saturday. These form references are a key piece of the puzzle when sourcing tried horses.

His latest preparation he failed first-up on a soft 7, where track conditions didn’t suit, before running an acceptable 5th beaten 3.2 lengths at Morphettville, November 1, where he wasn’t able to find the fence and lead which he likes to do but battled on well in the straight.
The horse is sound, with no vices.

Patriot Bloodstock has built a formidable partnership with Mitch Beer in the southern region. Patriot Bloostock have had 6 tried horses to race with Mitch Beer since January, all are winners!
We recommend the horse is sent for an immediate spell so we can start again with him from scratch next preparation.
He will be so well placed in the Southern border region early in the new year to target the Albury, and Wagga carnivals, with the scope to make it to Highway grade, and as a horse who can run 1400m, ultimately The Country Championships.
Shares start at $1200.00 for 5%. Costs include purchase price, PDS, transport, vet certificate, registration, transfers, and all associated costs until the end of December.
Ongoing costs are fixed at $200 + GST each month for 5%, no extras except for unexpected vet call outs, surgeries, feature race nominations, or anything out of the ordinary etc.
