Still In Fashion

A tremendous tried horse pick-up, we're so excited about this guy, 4yo gelding Still In Fashion by champion sire, Redoute's Choice, from stakes-winning, and Group 1-placed mare, Star Fashion (Street Cry {IRE}), he is a half-brother to 4 x city winner Miyake (Deep Impact {JPN}). Still In Fashion is bred on the highly successful nick which has produced Group 1 winners Farnan, Anamoe, Trekking, Stay With Me & Bonham.

Still In Fashion carries the famous Arrowfield brand. Bred, born, and was retained to race by Arrowfield under the care of head-trainer, Paul Messara. Arrowfield regularly reduce their stock to keep numbers down and we were thrilled to pick Still In Fashion up on this weeks Inglis Digital online auction. 

In just 11 starts, Still In Fashion has recorded 1 win and 8 placings, he has never finished worst than 5th beaten when 2.7L, and even that run he was forced to race wide throughout at Tamworth. Last preparation he was placed in two TAB Highways, see attached video replays below. His run when 3rd at Kensington, January 1 has produced 6 subsequent winners, a key piece of the puzzle when sourcing tried horses.

Still In Fashion is still eligible for TAB Highways, but also only having won one race he would be ideally suited in a country Class 1 & Maiden set weights race early in his preparation before heading back to compete in the TAB Highways. 

He is exactly the type of tried horse we love to buy, good exposed form, tough, sound, honest, and with only one win next to his name so much upside still ahead of him. We have had great success purchasing horses with similar form profiles. 

The horse has just completed a spell, he has been back in work 6-weeks and is up to working three-quarter pace over 1000m. He will be ready to trial and be back at the races within 4-6 weeks! 

To be trained by Mitch Beer at Albury who Patriot Bloodstock have enjoyed great success with recently, having saddled up 13 runners for 5 winners, 2 seconds and a third. 

Shares start at $1650 for 5%. Costs include purchase price, PDS, transport, vet certificate, registration, transfers and all training costs until the end of July. 

Ongoing costs are fixed at $200 + GST each and every month for 5%, no extras except for unexpected vet call outs, surgeries, feature race nominations, or anything out of the ordinary etc.
