Sky Warrior was purchased as a yearling for $140k from the Magic Millions in 2020. He has been well educated with 8 starts so far recording 2 placings on the tough Victorian provincial circuit. He was moved on as the ownership group didn’t feel he was up to Melbourne metropolitan standards and would be better placed in an easier jurisdiction, which is great for us because we’ll be racing him in the country.

He has performed more than acceptably in his races last preparation. He ran a very good 3^rd at Warnambool first-up on March 15 (see attached race replay below, orange jacket blue sleeves) when slightly unlucky but still recording very good splits. The runner-up in that race, Defining who Sky Warrior finished 1 length off, subsequently won two races in-a-row, and has since been listed placed in Adelaide. These are terrific form-lines and a key piece of the puzzle we look for when sourcing tried horses. 

His latest run was just last week at Pakenham June 3 (see attached race replay, orange jacket blue sleeves) running an unlucky 5th, he got held-up on the turn and seemed to resent racing tight between horses but still chased gamely to be beaten just over 3 lengths at the finish. Good enough form to be competitive where we will be placing him.

We have successfully purchased horses with similar formlines in the past and had good results placing them in a change of environment and an easier jurisdiction. 

Sky Warrior returns to full work August 1 and it won't be long until he breaks his maiden. 

Patriot Bloodstock have enjoyed great success recently with Mitch Beer having saddled up just 13 runners with the stable for 5 winners and 3 placings. 

Shares start at $1100 for 5%. Costs include purchase price, PDS, transport, vet certificate, registration and all agistment costs to the end of July. 

Ongoing costs are fixed at $50.00 + GST each and every week for 5%, no extras except for unexpected vet call outs, surgeries, feature race nominations, or anything out of the ordinary etc.
