3yo filly, Turtleneck by Winning Rupert and the first foal from 8 x winning mare, Beatniks $370k, to be trained by Mitch Beer at Albury.

Turtleneck was purchased as a yearling for $140k and all her education has been done with 3 x city barrier trials. She was moved on as part of a stock reduction sale where we picked her up online and we believe she will be perfectly placed racing in the country.

She has performed more than acceptably in her trials amongst city class horses that have produced 17 subsequent wins from those trials. Her latest trial in October (see attached video) at Rosehill was the second fastest of the 10 x 900m heats for the morning and last 600m in 33.61, and this trial has produced 8 subsequent wins. This is a key piece of the puzzle when sourcing tried horses. 

To be trained by Mitch Beer at Albury who Patriot Bloodstock have enjoyed great success with, having saddled up just 11 runners with the stable for 5 winners and 3 placings. 

Shares start at $600 for 5%. Costs include purchase price, transport and agistment costs to the end of June.

Ongoing costs are fixed at $50.00 + GST a week for 5% no extras except for unexpected vet call outs, or surgeries, feature race nominations etc.
