Patriot Bloodstock offers shares in ex-Godolphin 3yo CANAL {Lonhro} 4:0-0-1 to be trained by Paul Snowden at Port Macquarie.

CANAL has raced 4 times in strong city class races. At his second start he ran 3^rd at Kensington (0.6L) finishing alongside Group-3 winner, Grand Prairie, and in front of stakes-placed Navy Pilot. This prep he was beaten 3.6L behind the unbeaten Maluku at Wyong, and at his most recent run at Warwick Farm although beaten 7L, it was a $100k Super Maiden, and there have been 3 subsequent winners from this race already. These are outstanding form references for a horse still a maiden and heading to a county jurisdiction.

He will be ideally placed moving to the county with the scope to win his maiden quickly and work his way through the grades. He profiles like a horse who can graduate to TAB Highway class and being able to run 1400m long term The Country Championship series.

CANAL has also been gelded before being offered for sale, we’ll start from scratch with him, put him straight into work with a view to having him at the races mid-august.
